Erdek is a beautiful place at the Kapıdağ peninsula. Kapıdağ mountain is a National Park
Covering with forrest from up to down by the seaside. Marmara İsland, Avsa İsland, Ekinlik
İsland are the other settelements of the peninsula. Daily boat trips are making to those islands from Erdek.

Cyzicus is the most important settlement in the region. Persians, Kingdom of Pergamon
Seljuk Turks and Ottoman Empire rules Erdek.
